[attr="class","smallinfoboxyakidark"]"Why be a king when you can be a god?"
That's the question I asked myself when I stumbled upon the artifact which would change everything. Just a simple cube, but for some reason Doom saw fit to have it heavily guarded. Yes, some reason. It held great power, that which was said to be too much for any one man to wield. I always did love a challenge.
The Masters of Evil were fools to have strapped me to the back of the helicarrier they had stolen from S.H.I.E.L.D., and they were the first to feel my wrath. I didn't kill them, but the looks on their face as I sent them and their pathetic vehicle into the sea was priceless. Soon after I began construction of what I would consider my greatest masterpiece. Put in layman's terms, it transferred the energy contained within the cube into a sort of "vacuum". One which could work in two ways. The first I utilized near instantly, which had a rather... interesting effect.
For those unfamiliar, cosmic cubes are omega class artifacts capable of bending matter to the whim of their controller. My device combined with its power was capable of creating an entirely new universe within our own. A pocket dimension, if you will. What some would see as a trivial creation, something devoid of any life or matter, I saw opportunity. I instantly began to build upon my new little playground, using my machine to pull in pieces from my own Earth-616. With the technology I stole from the likes of the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D., I was eventually capable of expanding my vision to other worlds, other Earths, other realities entirely. The beauty of this was that I was capable of using the cube to infuse my nanite systems within each and every added piece that fell into my puzzle. With my suit, in this world at least, I could indeed be a god among man and mutant alike. No one could stop me.
Well, almost no one. During one of my pulls, I accidentally managed to pull in an entire Hell into my Murder World. Luckily enough I had only managed to pull one of its lords in with it (I found out soon enough). He told me his name was Malebolgia and that by bringing him here I had committed a crime against the very nature of existence. Yes, while I was able to avoid his attempted assaults, it quickly became apparent that I was dealing with forces beyond my total control. So, I decided it was time I put them under my control.
Selling my soul seemed like such a small price to have this devil on my side. With the loss of that speck of spiritual presence, I gained so much more. Yes, I did have to agree that Hell would remain Malebolgia's domain, but in the end it gave me total right to the rest of my world, as well as his allegiance.
Here I am capable of doing everything I could imagine. Teleportation, holographic projection, terraforming the land to suit my needs, extreme climate change, energy projection, control of the elements... The list goes on for miles, though while it is such fun to play with my toys personally, I more enjoy to sit back and watch as they deal with my various mechanical creations.
Let the games begin, I say. For all of you who looked down on me, heroes and villains alike, I wish you luck. You will need it because for every one of you there may be, there are an infinite number of tools at my disposal. And to those of you I have not been given the pleasure of making your acquaintance, I wish all the more luck. Nothing personal, but a GOD does need his playthings. All of you will do nicely.
