SYNOPSIS
Before his life began as one of the famed Guardians of the Galaxy, the hot-headed yet honorable Rocket Raccoon served as the former Chief Ranger of Halfworld, a planet that had been colonized to serve as an asylum for the mentally ill, where he kept vigilant watch over its psychologically fractured citizens, the "Loonies", and ensured their safety from numerous threats alongside fellow security officers, the mole Judson Jakes and the cyborg rabbit Blackjack O'Hare.
His memories were deliberately warped in order to permanently imprison the psychic villain Star Thief, who had been admitted as a patient to be treated before he employed his powers against the Halfworlders, turning them against one another. Star Thief's machinations resulted in the corruption of Judson Jakes and the reptilian Head of Psychology, Lord Dyvyne, who would go on to incite a Toy War between each other before joining forces to eliminate Rocket and his pals.
Fat load of good that did.
Anyway, he's had quite a few adventures since he and the rest of the Halfworlders left their planet behind inside the humanoid ship that the robots built. He'd been to a few planets prior to meeting the legendary Peter Quill, better known as Star-Lord, who offered him a spot on his elite intergalactic strike team prior to the invasion against the Phalanx Empire; it was during his service under Quill that he met and instantly formed an inseparable bond with Groot, a towering, tree-like alien whose rather limited dialogue options belied a vastly bright and sensitive mind. Rocket would repeatedly be called to maintain the stability of the Guardians during times when Quill's leadership came into question, and he eventually proved himself integral in the defeat of the mad Titan, Thanos.
But then this Arcade asshole just had to come around, start compiling bits and pieces of the Multiverse into another stupid Murderworld, and then force all of the greatest heroes and worst villains from every corner of reality to start killing each other off.
Rocket Raccoon once again finds himself in a rather unwelcoming situation.

POWERS / ABILITIES
- RACCOON PHYSIOLOGY – Rocket possesses identical physical attributes to a typical Earth raccoon, such as natural agility and speed, dextrous forepaws, and sharp claws which provide him with an organic weapon when all others have run dry; they are also suitable for climbing trees, walls, and buildings with ease. Lastly, his thick coat of fur is dense enough to provide insulation against cold weather.
- GENETIC MODIFICATION – Like all the other Halfworlders, Rocket is a genetically altered animal, created from scientific experiments conducted by the robots that formerly behaved as the Loonies' caretakers as a means of escaping the directives imparted unto them by their Shrink creators—their cute, cuddly appearances were meant to serve as a means of pacifying the insane citizens. As such, Rocket possesses intelligence comparable to an above-average human being as well as the ability to stand and walk on his hindpaws as though he were naturally bipedal.
- ENHANCED SENSES – Being an anthropomorphic woodland creature has its perks from time to time, and these are largely tied to Rocket's senses, which are naturally superior to those of a human being's. His eyes in particular are adapted to night conditions, providing him with the ability to see in pitch-black environs with perfect clarity, whereas his ears give him access to a much broader range of sounds which even humans cannot detects, thus giving Rocket increased awareness of everyone and everything around him, including noise created by even the tiniest vibrations in the ground. His sense of smell is also heightened to where he can pick up the most subtle changes in nearby scents, which proves useful when attempting to determine friend from foe. Finally, his paws possesses vibrissae above where his claws rest, which lets Rocket identify objects before he even touches them.
